IWEN is an affiliated institute of the University of Rostock and a
non-profit research and engineering company for development and technology
transfer in the field of renewable energies. As a competent partner for
companies, local authorities and scientific institutions, IWEN is consistently
driving forward the energy transition. The interdisciplinary team of engineers
and scientists has extensive experience in hydrogen projects, the development
of energy concepts, municipal heat planning and the modelling and simulation of
complex energy supply systems. The common goal is climate neutrality.
M.Sc. Alexander Siwek,
His research focuses on modelling and simulation of energy and environmental systems. In the project, he is responsible for the development of the technology catalogue, the regulatory framework and modelling activities supporting a decision-support tool for site-specific green roof configurations.
Dipl.-Ing.
Peter Dierken
His
research focuses on energy systems, especially design, simulation and
performance of wind turbines and energy concepts. In the project, he
contributes to the development of the technology catalogue and supports
modelling activities for a decision-support tool for site-specific green roof
configurations.
